Nos limites da Mentalidade Revolucionária

 

A "mentalidade revolucionária" se manifesta quando indivíduos ou grupos acreditam na necessidade de transformar radicalmente as estruturas existentes da sociedade ou até mesmo da natureza humana, utilizando a ação política como meio para alcançar essas mudanças.

Foi durante os períodos de mudanças socioeconômicas e políticas intensas, como a Revolução Francesa, que a mentalidade revolucionária ganhou destaque. 

Uma das características centrais da mentalidade revolucionária é a crença fervorosa na capacidade de remodelar a sociedade ou a natureza humana. 

Os agentes dessa mentalidade se consideram portadores de um futuro melhor, desconsiderando julgamentos morais ou éticos da humanidade presente ou passada, e justificam ações violentas ou autoritárias em nome do "bem maior".

A falta de consideração pelos direitos individuais e a diversidade de opiniões minam os princípios democráticos e os valores humanitários.

A essência totalitária e genocida da "mentalidade revolucionária" persiste, não importando os conteúdos ideológicos que adote em diferentes momentos e situações.

O Revolucionário não se sujeita a prestar contas senão a um futuro hipotético que ele próprio concebeu e está decidido a derrubar qualquer obstáculo que se oponha à transformação do mundo à sua imagem e semelhança. Ele é o inimigo supremo da humanidade, fazendo os tiranos e conquistadores da antiguidade parecerem modestos em suas ambições.

Ao longo de dois séculos, os movimentos revolucionários, suas guerras e o massacre de populações civis para consolidar seu poder resultaram em uma quantidade de mortes significativamente maior do que todos os conflitos bélicos, epidemias, terremotos e desastres naturais combinados desde o início da história humana. Guerras, genocídios, opressão: tudo isso foi perpetrado em nome da revolução. 

Não há desculpas, não há justificativas. A "mentalidade revolucionária" precisa ser arrancada de nossos sistemas sociais e culturais. Chega de alimentar o fogo da divisão e da violência em nome de uma utopia. 

Num mundo onde a "mentalidade revolucionária" é celebrada como o farol do progresso, ao longo dos séculos, ela nos trouxe não apenas promessas vazias, mas também uma trilha de cadáveres. Parece que o caos é o único legado verdadeiramente duradouro que podemos aspirar.

At the limits of the Revolutionary Mentality

The "revolutionary mentality" manifests itself when individuals or groups believe in the need to radically transform the existing structures of society or even human nature, using political action as a means to achieve these changes.

It was during periods of intense socioeconomic and political change, such as the French Revolution, that the revolutionary mentality came to prominence.

One of the central characteristics of the revolutionary mindset is the fervent belief in the ability to reshape society or human nature.

Agents of this mentality consider themselves bearers of a better future, disregarding moral or ethical judgments of present or past humanity, and justify violent or authoritarian actions in the name of the "greater good".

Lack of consideration for individual rights and diversity of opinions undermine democratic principles and humanitarian values.

The totalitarian and genocidal essence of the "revolutionary mentality" persists, regardless of the ideological content it adopts at different times and situations.

The Revolutionary is only accountable to a hypothetical future that he himself conceived and is determined to overthrow any obstacle that stands in the way of transforming the world into his image and likeness. He is the ultimate enemy of humanity, making the tyrants and conquerors of antiquity seem modest in their ambitions.

Over two centuries, revolutionary movements, their wars and the massacre of civilian populations to consolidate their power resulted in a number of deaths significantly greater than all the wars, epidemics, earthquakes and natural disasters combined since the beginning of human history. . Wars, genocides, oppression: all of this was perpetrated in the name of revolution.

There are no excuses, there are no justifications. The "revolutionary mentality" needs to be ripped out of our social and cultural systems. Enough of fueling the fires of division and violence in the name of a utopia.

In a world where the "revolutionary mindset" is celebrated as the beacon of progress, over the centuries it has brought us not only empty promises but also a trail of corpses. It seems that chaos is the only truly lasting legacy we can aspire to.
